Ōtaki Montessori is a place where tamariki are the center of all we do. We encourage holistic interactions for every learner through a Montessori lens. We are set within the heart of Haruātai Park with access to native bush which our tamariki frequently enjoy.
Nature forms an integral part of learning experiences at Ōtaki Montessori. Tamariki spend one morning a week immersed in Nature’s classroom, and Kererū can often be seen out while walking the track looking at birds, plants, and snow on the ranges.
Education is a natural process carried out by the children's experiences in the environment.
